Strategic Perspectives on Artificial Intelligence

An Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology may be overhyped (e.g., Large Language Models), but AI itself is not. It has become part of everyday life and work. Choosing the right tool is what truly matters.

In the AI era, two assets are especially critical:

  1. Data – This includes user data, industry data, and more. The quality and integrity of data are essential.
  2. Content – Created by humans, often through layers of recreation and refinement.

My Prospects:

  1. Data will be traded within the boundaries of data protection laws. Individuals and companies will buy and sell it, and how businesses leverage that data will become a key strategic differentiator.
  2. Content creation and editorial are more valuable than ever. Content gains value when (1) it is original — offering something not previously seen or discussed — or (2) it is engaging — with appropriate length, sound, visual effects, and other enhancements (often AI-assisted).
